I started with my interest in tattoos whilst still at school, working on the reception desk of a local studio for a Saturday job.
I was lucky enough to be offered a tattooing apprenticeship by a leading UK tattoo artist, even though I was still at school. I went to the studio every evening and week-ends and full time during any holidays, it was hard work and unpaid as all tattoing apprenticeships are!
After finishing my apprenticeship I was registered with the Environmental Health Authority, I was the youngest person to have been registered as a Tattoo Artist at just 17, still not old enough to have a Tattoo myself. I worked in a local Tattoo Studio were I honed my skills to a fine art and gained more confidence in my abilities.
I opened my own studio Body Worx in 2004 when I was 18
After two succesful years Gemma joined my studio in January 2006
We have just refurbished and extended the Tattoo Studio again and look forward to meeting clients old and new.
